 Out of the Ordinary began while listening to Annea Lockwood’s Tête-à-tête and wondering what it might mean to approach everyday listening in a similar spirit. This project pieces together small moments that simply felt worth documenting and wandering through. The result is a modest audio log and sound collage EP made entirely from field recor-
dings, no added instruments, just fragments assembled by hand. It isn’t meant to explain or extract meaning, but to sit with and appreciate the quiet, often overlooked textures of the mundane.
