Developed at the Leslie Street Spit in Toronto, a site where industrial infrastructure and recovering ecosystems exist side by side. The project listens to the shifting acoustic layers of this artificial peninsula through attentive recording and arrangement, the work explores how a constructed environment gradually transforms into a living habitat. Rather than documenting a single moment, Lowland Catastrophe traces the ongoing tension and coexistence between human-made structures and the rhythms of the natural world.
